Oakwoods & Little Oaks offer peaceful carp fishing in the heart of the Essex countryside, just outside Ingatestone. Set within secure private grounds, the lakes provide a quiet, well-maintained setting for anglers who want quality fishing, comfortable facilities and a relaxed atmosphere.

The venue is made up of two established carp lakes, Oakwoods and Little Oaks, each offering its own character and fishing experience. Oakwoods is the main lake, with mature surroundings, limited swims and a carefully managed stock of carp. Little Oaks offers a smaller, intimate lake with excellent access, purpose-built swims and a friendly syndicate feel.

Our aim is simple, to provide a peaceful and enjoyable carp fishing venue where members can relax, fish with confidence and enjoy time on the bank in beautiful surroundings.

A Quiet Essex Carp Fishing Venue

Oakwoods is home to approximately 60+ carp, with the vast majority weighing over 30lb. The lake currently holds 6 to 8 known 40lb+ carp, with the current lake record standing at an impressive 45lb 4oz. Every carp in Oakwoods is individually named and carefully logged, with the weight of each fish recorded after every capture to provide a detailed history of its growth and progress.

Little Oaks holds a larger stock of 80+ carp and is an excellent water for anglers targeting quality mid-20lb fish. The lake currently boasts six carp over the 30lb mark, with the largest recorded so far weighing 37lb. With a healthy and developing stock, Little Oaks offers plenty of opportunities to catch impressive carp across a wide range of weights.

Two Lakes, Each With Its Own Character

Oakwoods is the larger lake, offering 3 acres of water, 6 swims and a quality head of carp. The lake also benefits from swim lodges, supplied landing nets, mats and slings, along with useful facilities to make longer sessions more comfortable.

Little Oaks is a 1.8-acre lake with 5 swims, a gravel path around the lake, secure parking and a booking system for members. It is a great option for anglers looking for a well-run Essex carp syndicate with a peaceful, countryside feel.
